I work with a wide array of individuals and my coaching program is tailored to meet your unique needs. Below I describe how coaching works in general, as well as the basic coaching format that I use.

Getting Started

  1. You contact me via the form on my Contact page or phone to discuss coaching, the coaching process, and the possibility of working together. If you like, we can do a sample session for you to get a feel for what coaching with me is like.
  2. We will start with a 2-hour Discovery session. I usually do this during 2 1-hour sessions. The Discovery session is a chance for us to get to know one another, for you to get really clear about what you want from the coaching relationship, and for us to design the coaching relationship that will best support your goals and the life you are creating.
  3. I will meet with you weekly, by phone, for our coaching sessions (weeks 1-4 of each month). Sessions are 45 minutes each. I typically meet with clients for a minimum of 6 months which is ample time for you to start achieving the goals you set out for yourself. to the extent we can, we will schedule our sessions for the same time each week.
  4. Between our regular phone sessions, you may reach me via email and/or phone. Between sessions is typically when most of the work takes place.
  5. At the end (or really throughout) the course of our coaching relationship, we will discuss the impact of the coaching on achieving your goals and make adjustments as necessary.
  6. I work with a maximum of 15 clients at any given time which allows me to be very clear about what you are working on at all times. This helps us keep you on track so that you achieve the goals you set out to achieve.
